Playing a range of senior influential roles in pharma, life sciences, R&D, biotech, big corps and startups for the past 30 years, Massimo Bresciani has created value of more than £250 million across industry and academia on the global stage. 

Massimo's deep knowledge spans pharmaceutical development from lead optimization through preclinical and clinical phases with specialist expertise in digital transformation of CMC. Formerly head of early formulation strategy for GSK, he has extensive expertise in technology road-mapping, commercial readiness for innovative life science technologies, and navigating regulatory landscapes and IP.  He notably led the complex transition of a large R&D pharma site into becoming a leading discovery and early development global CRO/CDMO as part of a Private Equity led acquisition.

As the founder of Scientific Cloud, Massimo sits on several boards and acts as a strategic advisor and executive for various companies. He is a partner in an investment vehicle and an active member of an investors network.  He is active in the UK, EU, US, Singapore and Middle East.

With a scientific background and an Executive MBA, Massimo is dedicated to advancing patient-centric solutions in the life sciences. He has also been board member of a Geriatric Medicine Society and an active player in the field of patient compliance/adherence.

Massimo is originally from Northern Italy and is now based in Central London.
