Patrick Hanley Cell & Gene Therapy Advisor and Company Builder

Patrick is Chief and Director of the Cellular Therapy Program and an Associate Professor at Children’s National Hospital. He is also a Board Member of the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy and Commissioning Editor of the journal Cytotherapy, the official journal of the International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy.

His work focuses on translating, developing, manufacturing, and testing novel cell therapies for cancer and infection. Trained as an Immunologist, he has an extensive background and interest in cellular therapy. For the past 18 years he has investigated and helped to translate more than 25 clinical trials across academia and industry.

Prior to joining Y Innovations, Patrick was the co-founder and a Member of the Board of Directors of Mana Therapeutics.
